DEDICATED PIPELINE CONVEYOR FOR BULK MATERIALS Abstract A pipeline conveyor is proposed where there are used 2 pipelines and monorail loops at the end.The containers move at high speed along the tubes and bumper to bumper at the ends where they ac- tually block the pipelines.At the input of each pipeline there is a controlling positive chain which is controlling the relea- se of the containers inside of each pipeline.Only one propulsion station is used ,placed at the input end of one of the pipelines. This propulsion station is pumping air into the pipeline ,air which is moving the containers and then at the end of the pipeline the air is brought via a manifold in the second pipeline.At the ends the containers are pneumatically braked by thepresence of the bumper to bumper containers on the monorail and in the input and output ends of the pipelines.A certain over pressure keep the containers in motion on the monorail and in a positive/desmo- dromic relation/attitude with the positive chains.Only one propul- sion station is used,only one manifold to bring the air in the system from the blower,the chains are used mainly to brake check the frequency and the release in the pipeline(not for moving on the monorail).The dead end effect is performed against a continuous string of bumper to bumper containers-part of them on the monorail and part of them in the tubes-restricted by the chain
