A medical therapy delivery device that includes a shaft formed by an outer layer and a deflectable tip that includes a tapered portion. A manipulator wire extends through the shaft to adjust deflection of a second portion of the shaft relative to a first portion. The outer layer forms a single shaft lumen having a first lumen portion positioned about a thru lumen tubing and a second lumen portion, offset from and in fluid communication with the first lumen portion, the second lumen portion having a first side wall, a second side wall and a bottom wall extending between the first side wall and the second side wall, the thru lumen tubing. The first side wall, the second side wall and the bottom wall position the manipulator wire within the second lumen portion.
L'invention concerne un dispositif médical d'administration de traitement. Ce dispositif comprend un arbre constitué d'une couche extérieure et d'une pointe flexible comportant une partie effilée. Un fil de manipulation s'étend à travers l'arbre de sorte à régler la flexion d'une deuxième partie de l'arbre par rapport à une première partie. La couche extérieure constitue une lumière d'arbre unique comportant une première partie lumière disposée autour d'une tubulure de lumière traversante, et une deuxième partie lumière, décalée par rapport à la première partie lumière et en communication liquide avec celle-ci. Cette deuxième partie lumière comporte une première paroi, une deuxième paroi et une paroi inférieure s'étendant entre la première et la deuxième paroi et la tubulure de lumière traversante. La première paroi, la deuxième paroi et la paroi inférieure permettent de positionner le fil de manipulation à l'intérieur de la deuxième partie lumière.
