3-(1-Aminocycloalkyl)pyrrolidinyl-substituted-6- dehalodeno(hydrogen-substituted)quinolon carboxylic acid derivatives having specific substitunets as represented by the following formula (I), its salts, and hydrates thereof exhibit a broad and potent antibacterial activity on gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, in particular, resistant bacteria typified by gram-positive cocci, including MRSA, PRSP and VRE. Thus these compounds are usable as drugs. (see formula I)

L'invention concerne des dérivés d'acide 3-(1-aminocycloalkyl)pyrrolidinyl-substitués-6-dihalogéno(hydrogène-substitués)quinolonecarboxylique à substituants spécifiques, représentés par la formule générale (I), ainsi que leurs sels et hydrates. Ces composés possèdent une activité antibactérienne élevée à large spectre sur les bactéries gram négatif et gram positif, et plus particulièrement sur les bactéries résistantes caractérisées par des cocci à gram positif telles que MRSA, PRSP et VRE. Ces composés peuvent par conséquent être utilisés dans des médicaments.
