The object of the present invention is to provide a catalyst for preparation of an alkenyl aromatic compound by dehydrogenating an alkyl aromatic compound, a process for preparation thereof, and a method for using it. Under the much carbon dioxide-containing dehydrogenation reaction condition in which CO2 is present in a molar ratio of 0.015 to 0.20 based on an aromatic compound in a material gas, as the catalyst being capable of producing the alkenyl aromatic compound in the high yield, the catalyst which comprises an iron and an alkali metal, and comprises about 13 to about 60 % by weight of a rare earth element calculated as an oxide is contacted with a reaction gas.
La présente invention concerne un catalyseur destiné à produire un composé alcényle aromatique par déshydrogénation dun composé alkyle aromatique. Linvention concerne également un procédé de production dun tel catalyseur et lutilisation dun tel catalyseur. Linvention concerne spécifiquement un catalyseur qui permet la production dun composé alcényle aromatique avec un rendement élevé dans des conditions de déshydrogénation correspondant à une concentration élevée en dioxyde de carbone, le CO2 étant présent en un rapport molaire de 0,015 à 0,20 par rapport aux composés aromatiques contenus dans le produit brut gazeux. Le catalyseur contient du fer, un métal alcalin et denviron 13 à 60 % en poids dun élément de terre rare sous forme doxydes, et ce catalyseur est mis en contact avec un gaz de réaction.
