Disclosed is a novel deicing composition having improved corrosion inhibition and being obtained by mixing 89-99.98% by weight of an alkali metal formate, 0.01-6% by weight of an alkali metal silicate and 0.01-5% by weight of a C4- C19 alkyl carboxylic acid, said weight percentages being calculated on dry substances.

L'invention concerne une nouvelle composition de dégivrage qui présente une meilleure caractéristique d'inhibition de la corrosion et qui peut être obtenue par mélange de 89 à 99,98% en poids d'un formate métallique alcalin, de 0,01 à 6 % en poids d'un silicate métallique alcalin et de 0,01 à 5 % en poids d'un acide carboxylique d'alkyle C4-C19, lesdits pourcentages pondéraux étant calculés à partir de substances sèches.
