Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to a high-voltage network. The high-voltage network includes a transmitting substation and a receiving substation and an overhead power transmission line which connects busbars at the transmitting and receiving substations. A source for melting icing is joined, during the ice melting, to at least one disconnected phase of the power transmission line at one end of the power transmission line. An insulated conductor is joined, during ice melting, to at least one disconnected phase at the other end of the overhead power transmission line. The network may also include an additional overhead power transmission line leading away from the busbars of the receiving substation. The additional line also includes an insulated conductor, and one end of the insulated conductor is grounded while the other end of the insulated conductor is joined, during ice melting, to at least one disconnected phase of the main overhead power transmission line.
