ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A delay circuit includes a switching element for operatively switching between a first position and a second position. The switching element connects an input voltage to an electrically-operated device in the first position. A delay element is operatively connected to the switching element for maintaining the switching element in the first position when an input voltage in- terruption occurs which is less than a pre-determined time interval.
