Delayed Data Transmission System Abstract The delayed data transmission system disclosed by the present invention consists of a local electronic transmission system, a physical media for storing facsimile and other data and an inter-city media transportation system. Facsimile users telephone the local electronic transmission system portion of the delayed data transmission system of the present invention in their city. The local electronic transmission system within a given city accumulates on a physical media the facsimile transmissions it is receiving. After accumulating a certain amount of transmission data, or perhaps at periodical intervals, the physical media is transported by physical transportation means to another city. The local electronic transmission system in that city reads the data present on the physical media and transmits the facsimile and other data present on the physical media to the designated destinations via the local telephone system in that city.
