A method including detecting a communication call attempt in a portable communication device, determining whether the portable communication device is outside of a communication network coverage area, determining a location of the portable communication device where the communication call attempt is detected if outside of the communication network coverage area with a position determining module of the portable communication device and storing the location in a memory of the portable communication device, determining at least one route from the location of the portable communication device where the communication call attempt is detected to at least one communication network coverage area with a navigation module of the portable communication device and presenting the at least one route on a display of the portable communication device.

L'invention concerne un procédé comportant les étapes consistant à détecter une tentative dappel de communication sur un dispositif portable de communication, à déterminer si le dispositif portable de communication se situe en dehors de la zone de couverture dun réseau de communication, à déterminer lemplacement du dispositif portable de communication où la tentative dappel de communication est détectée, sil se situe en dehors de la zone de couverture du réseau de communication, à laide dun module de détermination de position du dispositif portable de communication et à mémoriser lemplacement en question dans une mémoire du dispositif portable de communication, à déterminer au moins un itinéraire de lemplacement du dispositif portable de communication où la tentative dappel de communication a été détectée à au moins une zone de couverture du réseau de communication à laide dun module de navigation du dispositif portable de communication et à présenter le ou les itinéraires en question sur un affichage du dispositif portable de communication.
