A method of controlling and delaying the inversion of a drilling fluid and the wettability s of a filtercake by using a delayed phase changing agent. The filtercake is preferably formed while drilling a subterranean formation using a drilling fluid includes: an oleaginous fluid; a nono-leaginous fluid; an amine surfactant having the structure: wherein R is a C12-C22 aliphatic hydrocarbon; R' is an independently selectable from hydrogen or C1 to C3 alkyl; A is NH or O, and 1 <= x+y <= 3. In the method, the filter cake is exposed to a delayed phase changing agent selected from the group consisting of aliphatic amine acids, salts of aliphatic amine acids and combinations thereof. In one preferred illustrative embodiment, the delayed phase changing agent is delivered in the form of a pill, the pill including a carrier fluid, a viscosifier and the delayed phase changing agent. The delayed phase changing agent may be selected from ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, alkali metal salts of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid and combinations of these and similar compounds.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de réguler et de retarder l'inversion d'un fluide de forage et la mouillabilité d'un gâteau de filtration au moyen d'un agent de changement de phase retardé. Le gâteau de filtration est de préférence formé pendant le forage d'une formation souterraine au moyen d'un fluide de forage qui comprend: un fluide oléagineux; un fluide non oléagineux; un tensioactif aminé de structure (I) dans laquelle R est un hydrocarbure aliphatique C¿12?-C¿22?; R' peut être indépendamment sélectionné parmi hydrogène ou alkyle C¿1?-C¿3?; A est NH ou O, et 1 = x+y = 3. Selon le procédé de l'invention, ledit gâteau de filtration est exposé à un agent de changement de phase retardé sélectionné dans le groupe comprenant acides aminés aliphatiques, sels d'acides aminés aliphatiques et combinaisons de ceux-ci. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, ledit agent de changement de phase retardé est distribué sous forme de pilule qui comprend un fluide support, un additif d'indice de viscosité et ledit agent de changement de phase retardé. Ledit agent de changement de phase retardé peut être sélectionné parmi acide éthylène diamine tétra acétique, sels de métaux alcalins d'acide éthylène diamine tétra acétique et combinaisons de ceux-ci et composés identiques.
