The present disclosure relates to a delayed controlled release composition of at least one form of venlafaxine. According to the disclosure a delayed controlled release composition of venlafaxine hydrochloride is provided by a blend of polymers in the core formulation. The core formulation having extended release polymers is coated with a non-permeable polymer blend formed of a water in-soluble polymer and an enteric coating polymer, which does not release the active drug in either acid or base for up to about 4 hours. Upon disintegration of the non-permeable coating the active drug is released in a sustained manner due to the polymers within the core formulation. The delayed release prevents the substantial release of venlafaxine into the stomach.
La présente invention concerne une composition à libération contrôlée retardée d'au moins une forme de venlafaxine. L'invention concerne précisément une composition à libération contrôlée retardée de chlorhydrate de venlafaxine obtenue grâce à un mélange de polymères dans la formulation de cAEur. La formulation de cAEur ayant des polymères de libération prolongée est enrobée d'un mélange de polymères non perméables formé d'un polymère insoluble dans l'eau et d'un polymère d'enrobage gastrorésistant, qui empêche la libération du médicament actif dans un acide ou dans une base pendant environ 4 heures. Lors de la désagrégation de l'enrobage non perméable, le médicament actif est libéré d'une manière prolongée à cause des polymères présents à l'intérieur de la formulation de cAEur. La libération retardée empêche une libération importante de venlafaxine dans l'estomac.
