ABSTRACT A delimbing head for use in delimbing trees. The delimbing head has a pair Or movable, curved delimbing arms and means for moving the arms between a tree receiving position and a tree holding position. A delimbing element is provided on the head, positioned to be located between two trees held by the curved arms in their tree holding position. The delimbing element pre- ferably is movably mounted on the head to be movable between an inoperative, non-delimbing position removed from the arms and an operative, delimbing position adjacent the arms.
