A delivery device (1) for delivering a dose of washing material, especially a detergent tablet, into the interior of a washing apparatus such as a machine dishwasher. In one preferred form, the device (1) comprises: a chamber (4) for containing the dose of washing material to be delivered, the chamber (4) including at least one opening (9) for allowing communication between the interior of the chamber (4) and the outside of the device (l); closure means (2a,2b) for selectively closing or opening the at least one opening (9) in the chamber (4); and temperature sensitive actuation means (30,20) constructed and arranged for causing the closure means (2a,2b) to move from their closed condition to their open position at a point or stage in the wash cycle of the apparatus at which a predetermined temperature within the interior of the apparatus is reached. The temperature sensitive actuation means preferably comprises a temperature sensitive actuation element, e.g. a bimetallic strip (30), in combination with a spring (20) which moves the closure means (2a,2b) from their closed to their open position when triggered to do so by the actuation element (30). Alternatively, in other embodiments the temperature sensitive actuation means may comprise simply a memory spring. In the context of an automatic dishwashing machine, triggering of the release of the detergent tablet can be arranged to occur when the temperature inside the machine reaches that indicative of the beginning of a main wash cycle e.g. 35 or 40 to 80°C, following completion of a preceding, cooler, prewash stage.
Appareil de distribution (1) permettant de distribuer une quantité de savon, notamment du détergent en pain, à l'intérieur d'un appareil de lavage, tel un lave-vaisselle. Dans une version privilégiée, le dispositif (1) comprend : une chambre (4) destinée à recevoir la quantité de savon devant être distribuée et comportant au moins une ouverture (9) qui communique avec l'intérieur de la chambre (4) et l'extérieur du dispositif (1); des dispositifs de fermeture (2a, 2b) permettant d'ouvrir à volonté au moins une ouverture (9) de la chambre (4); un dispositif de déclenchement sensible aux variations de température (30, 20) conçu pour permettre aux dispositifs de fermeture (2a, 2b) de passer de leur position fermée à leur position ouverte à un moment ou à une étape où le cycle de lavage atteint une température préétablie. Le dispositif d'enclenchement se compose de préférence d'un organe d'actionnement, telle une bilame (30) intégrée à un ressort (20), qui envoie un signal aux dispositifs de fermeture (2a, 2b) et provoque leur ouverture. Dans d'autres versions, le dispositif de déclenchement peut comporter uniquement un ressort à mémoire de forme. Dans un lave-vaisselle automatique, il est possible de régler la distribution du détergent pour qu'elle ait lieu lorsque la température à l'intérieur du lave-vaisselle indique le début d'un cycle de lavage principal, soit à 35, 40 ou 80 degrés Celsius, à la suite d'un cycle de prélavage à température froide.
