A system for injecting an injectate into patient includes a first pressurizable container for holding the injectate; a patient interface in fluid connection with the first pressurizable container, the patient interface being adapted to pass the injectate into tissue of the patient; a powered injector in operative connection with the first pressurizable container to pressurize the injectate; a controller system in operative connection with powered injector; and a stereotactic localization frame adapted to be placed in operative connection with the patient interface to assist in controlling localization of the patient interface. A system for processing cells (and/or other injectate components) includes a container and a plunger adapted to be slidably positioned within the container. The system includes at least one inlet port through which a fluid can enter the system and at least one effluent port through which an effluent can exit the system. The plunger section forms a sealing engagement with the inner wall of the container such that rearward motion of the plunger is adapted to draw fluid into the system via the inlet and forward motion of the plunger is adapted to force effluent out of the system via the effluent port.
L'invention porte sur un système qui permet d'injecter un injectat à un patient, lequel système comprend: un premier contenant pressurisable destiné à contenir l'injectat; une interface patient en communication fluidique avec le premier contenant pressurisable, l'interface patient étant apte à faire passer l'injectat dans les tissus du patient; un injecteur motorisé fonctionnellement relié au premier conteneur pressurisable afin de mettre l'injectat sous pression; un système contrôleur fonctionnellement relié à l'injecteur motorisé; et un cadre de localisation stéréotactique apte à être fonctionnellement relié à l'interface patient afin d'aider à contrôler la localisation de l'interface patient. L'invention concerne également un système de traitement des cellules (et/ou d'autres composants d'injectat) qui comprend un contenant et un piston apte à être placé coulissant à l'intérieur du contenant. Le système comprend au moins un orifice d'entrée à travers lequel un liquide peut pénétrer dans le système et au moins un orifice de sortie à travers lequel un effluent peut quitter le système. La section piston forme un joint d'étanchéité en contact avec la paroi interne du contenant, de telle manière que par un mouvement vers l'arrière, le piston est apte à attirer le liquide à l'intérieur du système via l'entrée et que par un mouvement vers l'avant, le piston est apte à forcer l'effluent à sortir du système via l'orifice de sortie.
