_A_B_S_T_R_A_C_T_ The invention provides a delustered thermo- plastic resin composition obtained by incorporating in 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin up to 40 parts by weight of a cross-linked polymer having an average particle diameter of 35-500µ which polymer is obtained by suspension-polymerizing a non-cross-linking monomer composition comprising 0-90 wt. % of a vinyl aromatic monomer, 10-100 wt. % of an alkyl (meth)acrylate having 1-13 carbon atoms in the alkyl group and 0-40 wt. % of another monoethylenically unsaturated monomer with 0.5-5 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of the non- cross-linking monomer composition, of a cross-linking monomer having at least two double bonds in the molecule. Since the composition of soft vinyl chloride resin and polymeric delustering agent has a smooth delustered outer appearance and a softness, it is suitable for an interior material for automobile, a cover for cushion of chair, and other covers for furniture and interior decorative materials. A composition of ABS resin and polymeric delustering agent has a smooth delustered outer appearance and a high strength against the thermal shock, so that it may be suitable for a home-use electric applicance and a housing for suitcases etc. Composition of acrylic resin and polymeric delustering agent is suitable for covers for illumination lamps, etc., and when a resin for film making is applied for acrylic resin, its weather- proof characteristic and design characteristic are applied for making various kinds of over-lay films.
