ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus is disclosed for demoiling hollow, blown, plastic articles. The apparatus features a holding assembly for holding the article so that movement of the article along its center axis is prevented, a moil gripping assembly which grips the moil, and a power mechanism for moving the moil gripping assembly away from the article and thus removing the moil from the article.
