The present invention provides novel methods for immunotherapy. The invention provides immune cells and methods to generate them, with the capacity to at least in part reduce an immune response in a host. In one aspect the invention provides a method for generating a dendritic cell with the capacity to tolerise a T cell for antigen said T cell was specific for, comprising culturing peripheral blood monocytes from an individual to differentiate into dendritic cells, activating said dendritic cells in the presence of a glucocorticoid hormone and loading said activated dendritic cell with said antigen T cell was specific for.
La présente invention concerne de nouveaux procédés d'immunothérapie. L'invention se rapporte à des cellules immunitaires et à des procédés de génération de ces cellules immunitaires, qui sont capables au moins en partie de réduire la réaction immunitaire d'un hôte. Dans un de ses aspects, l'invention concerne un procédé permettant de générer une cellule dendritique capable de rendre un lymphocyte T tolérant vis-à-vis d'un antigène pour lequel ledit lymphocyte T était spécifique, procédé qui consiste à mettre en culture, jusqu'à ce qu'ils se différencient en cellules dendritiques, des monocytes du sang périphérique d'un individu, à activer lesdites cellules dendritiques en présence d'un glucocorticoïde, et à charger ladite cellule dendritique activée avec l'antigène pour lequel le lymphocyte T était spécifique.
