A dental anchor apparatus comprises a one or two part endosseous implant securable in a patient's mouth and a retention member which is releasably engageable with the implant. The implant has an abutment head at one end and a threaded post projecting from the head and designed for threaded engagement in the jaw bone, the head having an outer locating surface portion. The retention member is generally cup-shaped with a first end and a peripheral skirt extending from the first end to form a cavity, the skirt having an inner locating surface which is engaged over the outer locating surface portion of the head. The head may also have a socket in which a post extending from an inner end of the retention member engages as the parts are moved into releasable snap engagement.
Cette invention concerne un appareil dancrage dentaire comprenant un implant endo-osseux en une partie ou en deux parties fixé dans la bouche du patient et un élément de rétention sengagent de manière amovible avec limplant. Limplant comporte une tête dappui à une extrémité et un tenon fileté partant de la tête et conçu pour sintroduire par rotation dans los de la mâchoire, la tête ayant une partie de surface de positionnement externe. Lélément de rétention est généralement en forme de cupule avec une première extrémité et un rebord périphérique partant de la première extrémité pour former une cavité, le rebord ayant une surface de positionnement interne sengageant par-dessus la partie de surface de positionnement externe de la tête. La tête peut également disposer dun manchon dans lequel un tenon partant dune extrémité interne de lélément de rétention sintroduit lorsque les parties se déplacent dans lengagement à ergot fixateur.
