Abstract A dental bridge (1) is described made of gold alloy and provided with sockets (2, 13) cast thereinto, through which sockets the bridge will be attached to anchoring elements (9, 10) attached to the jaw- bone of a patient. What is new is the sockets (2, 13) comprising a supporting part (3, 14) made of titanium, the outer surface of said supporting part being provided with retention means (5, 6, 15) for locking of the socket against axial movement. A manner of prepara- tion of a such dental bridge and a socket (2, 13) being a means for carrying out the manner are also described.
