ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A dental composition which comprises a polymerisable prepolymer obtained by reaction of a urethane prepolymer with an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, optionally in addition an ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolyerisable with the poly- merisable prepolymer, a particulate filler, preferably an in- organic filler e.g. glass, of which the particles have a maximum dimension of less than 1000 microns, and preferably a catalyst for example a peroxide or especially a photosensitive catalyst which is capable of curing the polymerisable prepolymer at low temperatures.
