A fork-like disposable object having known flossing string bridging the fork at its extremities and having a connecting base use for a positive connection to a reusable handle of tubular shape having a square-shaped hole at one end for receiving the said fork object. The two parts are kept connected by a collar as part of the fork object and a normally closed plastic latch as part of the said handle.
