Dental implant component (10) on which a dental prosthesis (30; 40) or core part thereof is intended to be fabricated having a proximal end (2), a distal end (6) and a channel (7) which extends from a proximal opening (9) in the proximal end to the distal end, characterised in that the dental implant component is provided with a roof wall structure (5) at the distal end of which a predetermined area (18) is adapted to be removed to provide a distal opening to the channel of predetermined dimension for enabling a post (50) to be positioned in the channel during fabrication of the dental prosthesis or core part thereof with a close fit being formed between the post and the distal opening.

L'invention concerne un composant d'implant dentaire (10) sur lequel il est envisagé de fabriquer une prothèse dentaire (30, 40) ou une partie centrale d'une prothèse dentaire. Le composant d'implant dentaire présente une extrémité proximale (2), une extrémité distale (6) et un canal (7) qui s'étend d'une ouverture proximale (9) ménagée dans l'extrémité proximale à l'extrémité distale. Le composant d'implant dentaire se caractérise en ce qu'il est muni d'une structure de paroi supérieure (5) à l'extrémité distale de laquelle une zone préétablie (18) est adaptée pour s'enlever et offrir au canal une ouverture distale de dimension préétablie, si bien qu'un tenon radiculaire (50) peut être placé dans le canal pendant la fabrication de la prothèse dentaire ou de la partie centrale de la prothèse, un ajustement serré étant formé entre le tenon radiculaire et l'ouverture distale.
