ABSTRACT A dental material is provided based on organic plastics in paste form, which consists essentially of (a) a polymerizable binder, (b) an organic filler and (c) a fine-particled inorganic filler having an average particle size of from 1 mµ to 1 µ which has been after-treated with an adhesion promoter, wherein the organic filler (b) is a cross- linked bead polymer having an average particle size of from 10 to 100 µ and contains a part of the inorganic filler (c).
