An ultrasonic dental tooth treatment system includ-ing an ultrasonic dental handpiece, a fluid reservoir hous-ing and a power control housing. The reservoir housing is supported by the control housing. The reservoir housing encloses two containers which are connected to the selec-tor valve. The selector valve is connected to a control housing conduit which is connected to the handpiece. The control housing encloses a power control circuit which is connected to the handpiece. In a preferred embodiment of the invention a fluid dispenser includes at least one read-ily removable reservoir container supported by a reservoir housing having a pivotable cover and a fluid control valve. The cover is pivotable between an open position and a closed position. The valve is closed by the cover when the cover is in its open position.

L'invention concerne un système de traitement dentaire à ultrasons comprenant une pièce à main dentaire ultrasonique, un compartiment pour le réservoir à fluide et un compartiment pour le dispositif de commande. Le compartiment du réservoir est supporté par le compartiment du dispositif de commande et renferme deux récipients qui sont reliés à la vanne de sélection. La vanne de sélection est accouplée à un conduit du compartiment du dispositif de commande, lui-même accouplé à la pièce à main. Le compartiment du dispositif de commande renferme un circuit de commande de puissance accouplé à la pièce à main. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention, un distributeur de fluide comprend au moins un récipient-réservoir amovible supporté par un compartiment de réservoir ayant un couvercle pivotant et une soupape de régulation du fluide. Le couvercle pivote de la position ouverte à la position fermée. La soupape est fermée par le couvercle lorsque ce dernier est en position ouverte.
