ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Dentifrice composition comprising sodium monofluorophosphate and compatible polishing material, at least a major portion of which is dicalcium phosphate dihydrate having a particle size such that all particles are above 3 microns in size, and at least 65% of the particles are about 3-10 microns in size, the composition having improved fluoride retention over dicalcium phosphate dihydrate compositions at present in commerical use.
