ABSTRACT Dentifrices including modified amino alkyl silicones are provided. The aminoalkyl silicones are modified with epoxides to alkylate the nitrogen atoms and decrease their reactivity to fla- vors and other aldehydes present in the dentifrice. The modified silicones form a hydrophobic layer on the teeth for prevention of caries and stain.
