A denture adhesive comprises a partial, mixed salt of a copolymer of an alkyl vinyl ether and maleic acid copolymer produced by a wet process, wherein the cations of said salt comprise i) calcium with a degree of substitution of the copolymer in calcium of at least about 69 %; and ii) at least one other cation selected from the group consisting of sodium and potassium.

L'invention concerne un adhésif pour dentier renfermant un sel mélangé partiel d'un copolymère d'éther vinylique d'alkyle et d'acide maléique produit à l'aide d'un procédé par voie humide, les cations dudit sel comportant: 1) du calcium présentant un degré de substitution du copolymère dans le calcium d'au moins environ 69 %; et 2) au moins un autre cation sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par du sodium et du potassium.
