A DEODORANT COMPOSITION IN THE FORM OF GEL ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A new deodorant composition in the form of gel is now provided, which comprises 2% to 30% by weight of sodium polyacrylate or ammonium polyacrylate having a molecular weight of form 40,000 to 300,000, 1% to 10% by weight of diglycidyl ether or polyglycidyl ether, 5% to 40% by weight of chemical reaction typed deodorizer containing as active ingredient a betaine compound, and the remainder of water. The gel typed deodorant composition according to this invention may effectively be used to deodorize acidic and alkaline bad odors in the enclosed areas.
