An inflatable dome (1) that can be deployed and collapsed by respectively inflating and deflating it has a plurality of adjacent, longitudinal inflatable beams (A, B, C,...), means for supplying a pressurised fluid to the inflatable beams (A, B, C...) and means for causing the beams to slide at least along a path (2, 2a) of deployment or collapsible movement formed by a rigid beam that extends in a fluid-tight manner through the inflatable beams (A, B, C...). The rigid beam is a pipe (3) through which the pressurised fluid flows for inflating or deflating the beams (A, B, C...). The pipe (3) communicates at least at one of its ends with the pressurised fluid supply means (4) and with the inside of at least one inflatable beam (A, B, C...) through at least one hole (5, 5a, 5b...) arranged in the wall of the pipe (3) and provided with stopping means.

L'invention a pour objet une voûte gonflable (1), déployable et escamotable par gonflage et dégonflage respectivement comportant une pluralité de poutres gonflables (A, B, C...), longitudinales et disposées côte-à-côte, des moyens (4) d'alimentation des poutres gonflables (A, B, C...) en fluide sous pression et des moyens de coulissement des poutres le long d'au moins un chemin (2, 2a) de déploiement ou de repliage formé par une poutre rigide traversant de manière étanche ces poutres gonflables (A, B, C...). La poutre rigide est formée par une canalisation (3) de transport de fluide sous pression pour le gonflage ou le dégonflage des poutres (A, B, C...) communiquant, d'une part, à au moins une de ses extrémités avec les moyens (4) d'alimentation en fluide sous pression et, d'autre part, avec l'intérieur d'au moins une poutre gonflable (A, B, C...) par au moins un orifice (5, 5a, 5b...) ménagé dans la paroi de la canalisation (3) et muni de moyens d'obturation.
