A B S T R A C T An antithrombotic agent containing a compound represented by the general formula (I) Image (I) wherein X1 and X2 may be the same or different substituent at 3, 4, 5 or 6 position on the phenyl ring and represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, a nitro group, a cyano qroup, an amino group a lower alkyl group or a lower alkoxy group, R1 and R2 may be the same or different each other and represent an amino group, an alkylamino group, a dialkylamino group, a substituted or unsubstituted arylamino or diarylamino group, a naphthylamino group; an aralkylamino group, amino-, di- or tri-hydxoxyalkylamino group, a piperidinyl alkylamino group, an alkyloxyalkylamino group represented by the general formula (2) or a dialkyloxyalkylamino group represented by the general formula (2'); -NH-R3-O-R4-H (2) , -NH-R'3?O-R4-H)2 (2') wherein R3, R'3 and R4 may be the same or different each other and represent a straight or branched alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, an acyloxyalkylamino group represented by the general formula (3) -NH-R3-O?-R5-H (3) wherein R3 has the same meaning as defined above and R5 represents a straight or branched alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, a hydroxyalkylaminoalkylamino group represented by the formula (4) -NH-R3-NH-R6-OH (4) wherein R3 has the same meaning as defined above and R6 may have the same meaning as R3 and represents a straight or branched alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cyclohexylamino group, a morpholino group, a morpholinoalkyl group, an alkyl- piperazino group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl- piperazino group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkylpiperazino group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkenylpiperazino group having 2 to 16 carbon atoms or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. These novel compounds have a strong activity for inhibiting platelet aggregation.
