ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Novel compounds of the general formula: Image I wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of up to 6 carbon atoms, and X represents an alkyl group having up to 5 carbon atoms, may be prepared by reacting an acetal of a 2-aminocyclopropyl aldehyde with a cyanide in the presence of an alkane carboxylic acid, and may be converted by hydro- lysis and/or alcoholysis into compounds having valuable bio- logical activity.
