The invention relates to compounds having general formula (I), (see formula I) wherein R denotes a halogen atom, a phenyl group which is substituted by one or more groups selected from among halogen atoms and the (C1-C6) alkyl, (C1-C6) alcoxy, nitro, amino, trifluoromethyl, cyano, hydroxy, acetyl or methylenedioxy groups, a pyridinyl group, a thienyl group, an indolyl group, or a pyrimidinyl group which is optionally substituted by one or more (C1-C6) alcoxy groups. Moreover, among the two carbon-carbon bonds denoted by (see above formula) one is simple and the other can be simple or double. The inventive compounds are nicotinic receptor ligands.

Composés répondant à la formule générale (I) dans laquelle R représente soit un atome d'halogène ou un groupe phényle substitué par un ou plusieurs groupes choisis parmi les atomes d'halogènes et les groupes (Cl-C6)alkyle, (C1- C6)alcoxy, nitro, amino, trifluorométhyle, cyano, hydroxy, acétyle ou méthylènedioxy, soit un groupe pyridinyle, soit un groupe thiényle, soit un groupe indolyle, ou un groupe pyrimidinyle éventuellement substitué par par un ou plusieurs groupes (C1-C6)alcoxy, sachant que, parmi les deux liaisons carbone-carbone représentées par ----, l'une est simple et l'autre peut être simple ou double. Les composés de l~invention sont des ligands pour les récepteurs nicotiniques.
