ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There are disclosed derivatives of five-term nitrogen- containing heterocycles substituted on the nitrogen atom in posi- tion 1 by polyfunctional alkenyl groups and having the formula: Image ( I) in which: X represents a nitrogen atom or a CH group; Y repre- sents a nitrogen atom; R1 and R2 (equal to or different from each other) represent Image wherein R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a phenyl group which may be substituted by one or more halo- gen atoms, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R3 and R4 (equal to or different from each other) represent a hydrogen atom, a chlorine or bromine atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms which may be substituted by one or more halogen atoms, a phenyl group which may be substituted by one or more halogen atoms, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R5 and R6 (equal to or different from each other) repre- sent a hydrogen atom, a halogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms which may be substituted by 1 to 3 halogen atoms. Said compounds are endowed with phytogrowth-regulating activity and, in higher doses, with herbicidal activity. A process for synthesizing the compounds and their use in agriculture are also disclosed.
