A descaling composition containing cellulose microfibrils, wherein at least 80 % of the cells have primary walls and at most 20 % have secondary walls, with a crystallinity level no higher than 50 %. The pH of the composition is 1 or lower, and particularly 0.5 or lower.

L'invention a pour objet une formulation détartrante comprenant des microfibrilles de cellulose, dont au moins 80 % des cellules sont à parois primaires et au plus 20 % des cellules sont à parois secondaires, présentant un taux de cristallinité d'au plus 50 %. Le pH de la formulation est inférieur ou égal à 1, et plus particulièrement inférieur ou égal à 0,5.
