A desiccant system and a method for producing the same wherein a container (20) is provided with a desiccant sheet (10) that is trapped within the container (20) and a water vapor impermeable cover (26) for the container (20) making a water impermeable seal thereto. The sheet (10) may have a first substrate (12), and optionally, a second substrate (14), and desiccant particles adhered to the first substrate (12) or trapped between the first substrate (12) and the second substrate (14). A binder material may fuse the desiccant particles to one another and the substrates (12 and 14). The sheet may be trapped within the bottle (20) due to its tendency to unfurl to a flat condition, or it may be adhered to an inner surface of the bottle (20).

L'invention concerne un système de dessiccation et un procédé de fabrication associé, selon lequel une feuille dessiccative (10) est enfermée dans un contenant (20) fermé par un couvercle (26) imperméable à la vapeur d'eau, lequel confère au contenant une fermeture imperméable à l'eau. La feuille dessiccative (10) comporte un premier substrat (12) et éventuellement un second substrat (14), ainsi que des particules de dessiccation adhérant au premier substrat (12) ou emprisonnées entre le premier (12) et le second substrat (14). Une matière liante peut fondre les particules de dessiccation entre elles et aux substrats (12 et 14).
