A brief has a front panel and a rear panel, each substantially in the form of an inverted triangle having two upper, waist side vertices and a lower crotch side vertex. The two upper vertex define therebetween an upper edge of the respective panel to define the waist openings to which an elastic waistband may be mounted. The lower vertex defines a converging side with each of the upper vertices to define a leg opening. Each of the vertices has an engaging area on each of the panels to which a releasable fastener is provided to releasably fix the front panel to the rear panel at the vertices so as to allow a wearer to put on the brief without bowing or squatting or standing in one leg.

Un slip comporte un panneau avant et un panneau arrière, chacun ayant substantiellement la forme d'un triangle inversé dont les deux sommets supérieurs sont sur les côtés de la taille et le sommet inférieur dans l'entre-jambes. Les sommets supérieurs définissent entre eux un bord supérieur des panneaux respectifs pour définir l'ouverture de la taille qui peut être dotée d'une bande élastique. Le sommet inférieur définit un côté convergent avec chacun des sommets supérieurs pour définir une ouverture de jambe. Chacun des sommets a une zone de prise sur chacun des panneaux qui sont dotés d'une attache pour fixer de façon détachable le panneau avant au panneau arrière par les sommets, de sorte qu'on peut mettre le slip sans se pencher, s'accroupir ou se tenir sur une seule jambe.
