A detachable cup handle is provided and is constructed to be conveniently and detachably fastened to a cup. The detachably cup handle is also advantageously reusable. The detachable cup handle includes a vertical hand grip section for holding by the user's hand, a retainer section for clamping on the top rim of the cup lid and a retainer section to clamp the bottom of the cup. The handle is flexible enough to clamp the bottom and then the top of the cup while strong enough to support the weight of the 1 cup. Both retainer sections are connected to the handle section by vertical sections.
