DETACHABLE DIAPER SYSTEM WITH ADJUSTABLE LINER ABSTRACT A diaper assembly including a washable, reusable over-garment having opposite side edges and two opposite ends, an inner and outer surfaces. A detachable, washable, reusable moisture proof sheet is adapted for positioning on the inner surface side of the over-garment. There is a detachable, washable, reusable, adjustable absorbent liner adapted for positioning on the inner surface side of the moisture proof sheet. This adjustable absorbent liner also has opposite ends and inner and outer surfaces. There is a separate washable, reusable non-absorbent cover member adapted to cover the inner surface of the absorbent liner and having opposite ends. Preferably the over-garment have an elasticized breathable crescent shape garment piece located centrally on the side edges. Preferably the over-garment have an elasticized piece located between the over-garment and a protruding garment piece positioned at the rear end of the over-garment. Preferably a combination of snap fasteners and hook and loop type velcro fasteners are provided for detachably connecting the opposite ends on the inner surface of the over- garment to respective opposite ends on the outer surface of the moisture proof sheet. Preferably snap fasteners are provided for detachably connecting the opposite ends of both the absorbent liner and the cover member to respective opposite ends of the garment to enhance stability.
