Abstract of the Disclosure A detachable mounting for a seating device in a passenger type motor bus wherein an anchoring track is mounted on the floor and the base of the seating device has feet with heads which extend into the guideway of the track and are retained against upward movement by flanges in the track, and a locking pin also on the base urged downwardly into the guideway of the track and against the bottom of the track to pull the heads of the feet upwardly against the flanges and securely anchor the seating device against any movement relative to the floor of the bus.
