Provided is a method for detecting an analyte, wherein the analyte is labelled with one or more labels relatable to the analyte, which method comprises: a) performing an optical detection method on the labelled analyte to obtain optical data from the one or more labels; b) performing an electrical detection method on the labelled analyte to obtain electrical data from the one or more labels; and c) determining the identity and/or quantity of the analyte from both the optical and electrical data. Further provided is a method for detecting a plurality of analytes, wherein the each different analyte is labelled with one or more different labels relatable to the analyte, which method comprises: a) performing an optical detection method on a plurality of labelled analytes to obtain optical data from the labels; b) performing an electrochemical detection method on the plurality of labelled analytes to obtain electrical data from the labels; and c) determining the identity and/or quantity of the plurality of analytes from both the optical and electrical data.
L'invention concerne un procédé de détection d'un analyte, selon lequel l'analyte est marqué avec un ou plusieurs marqueurs pouvant être associés avec l'analyte, ledit procédé comprenant : a) la réalisation d'un procédé de détection optique sur l'analyte marqué pour obtenir des données optiques à partir du ou des marqueurs; b) la réalisation d'un procédé de détection électrique sur l'analyte marqué afin d'obtenir des données électriques à partir du ou des marqueurs; et c) la détermination de l'identité et/ou de la quantité de l'analyte à partir à la fois des données optiques et des données électriques. L'invention concerne également un procédé de détection d'une pluralité d'analytes, chaque analyte étant marqué avec un ou plusieurs marqueurs différents pouvant être associés avec l'analyte, ledit procédé comprenant : a) la réalisation d'un procédé de détection optique sur une pluralité d'analytes marqués pour obtenir des données optiques à partir des marqueurs; b) la réalisation d'un procédé de détection électrochimique sur la pluralité d'analytes marqués afin d'obtenir des données électriques à partir des marqueurs; et c) la détermination de l'identité et/ou de la quantité de la pluralité d'analytes à partir à la fois des données optiques et des données électriques.
