Fluorescently labeled ENP as well as methods of preparation are disclosed. Also disclosed is a method of detecting endotoxin in a liquid sample suspected of containing endotoxin, comprising admixing said liquid sample with fluorescently labeled ENP for a time sufficient to form a complex between the labeled ENP and the endotoxin, and performing fluorescence polarization experiment on said sample, wherein a change in the fluorescence polarization indicates the presence of endotoxin.
La présente invention concerne une protéine de neutralisation d'endotoxine (ENP) marquée en fluorescence et des procédés de préparation. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de détection d'une endotoxine dans un échantillon de liquide soupçonné de contenir une endotoxine, consistant à mélanger ledit échantillon de liquide avec une ENP marquée en fluorescence pendant un temps suffisant pour former un complexe entre l'ENP marquée et l'endotoxine et à effectuer un essai de polarisation de fluorescence sur ledit échantillon, un changement de la polarisation de fluorescence indiquant la présence d'une endotoxine.
