PR?CIS La presénte invention se rapporte principalement à une cellule de détection, à un detecteur matriciel melfant en oeuvre de telles cellules, à un capteur comportant un tel détecteur et à un spectroscope comportant un tel capteur. L'invention a pour objet une cellule de détection de photons comportant un élément supraconducteur notamment en niobium sensible aux photons du rayonement à détecter ou à des phonons engendrés par un tel photon, notamment par séparation des paires de Cooper en quasi particules et une junction supraconductrice à effet tunnel comprenant une électrode supraconductrice, caractérisée en ce qu'elles est délimitée par une pluraité de jonctions supraconductrices à effet tunnel espacées, réparties à la périphérie de la cellule. Le dispositif selon la présente invention s'applique au comptage de photons, et donc principalement à l'acquisiton et au traitement de l'information provenant de sources de rayonnement faibles.
