The invention relates to a detection device for unit loads, especially textiles. The inventive detection device for textiles is based on the known process of marking textiles with RFID tags that can be read out by means of a reading device. The inventive detection device for textiles comprises at least two antennae arranged at a defined angle in relation to each other, said antennae generating differently oriented electromagnetic fields. This ensures that the electronic marking of the unit loads in a counting basket can be read out reliably, independently of the spatial arrangement thereof.
