In that respect the invention is based on the idea of providing a detection device which is capable of distinguishing whether a microphone or audio signal processing arrangement connected thereto operates on an analog or digital basis. An analog or digital connection is selected in accordance with that determination procedure. Consequently there is provided a detection device which has a sensing device (6), a determining device (5) and a selecting device (4). The sensing device (6) senses an external signal fed to the detection device and forwards that signal to the determining device (5). The determining device (5) determines whether the sensed external signal was transmitted by an analog or digital signal processing apparatus and transmits a corresponding determination signal to the selecting device (4). The selecting device (4) then selects either an analog or a digital connection, in dependence on the determination signal.
L'objectif de l'invention est de créer un dispositif de détection pouvant déterminer si un microphone ou un appareil de traitement de signaux audio, auquel il est raccordé, fonctionne de manière analogique ou numérique, une connexion analogique ou numérique étant sélectionnée en fonction de cette détermination. Cet objectif est atteint au moyen d'un dispositif de détection qui présente une unité de détection (6), une unité de détermination (5) et une unité de sélection (4). L'unité de détection (6) détecte un signal externe, acheminé au dispositif de détection et transmet ce signal à l'unité de détermination (5). Cette dernière (5) détermine si le signal externe détecté a été transmis par un dispositif de traitement de signaux audio analogique ou numérique et transmet un signal de détermination correspondant à l'unité de sélection (4). Cette dernière (4) sélectionne ensuite une connexion soit analogique soit numérique en fonction du signal de détermination.
