The invention is a device for the multiplex detection of a plurality of characteristic signals from a plurality of samples. Previous multiplex systems using Hadamard transform multiplexing were often limited to 4n-1 samples (n = 1, 2, 3 etc.). The present invention overcomes this limitations by encoding signals after they had been modulated by a sine function or a cosine function (or a combination of sine and cosine functions). Such modulation of signals using the "sine/cosine transform" is easier to implement than Hadamard transforms and there is no limitation imposed on the number of samples.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de détection multiplex d'une pluralité de signaux caractéristiques provenant d'une pluralité d'échantillons. Les systèmes multiplex précédents utilisant le multiplexage par transformation d'Hadamard se limitaient souvent à 4n-1 échantillons (n = 1, 2, 3 etc.). L'invention permet d'apporter une solution à cette limitation au moyen du codage des signaux après leur modulation par une fonction sinus ou par une fonction cosinus (ou par une combinaison de fonctions sinus et cosinus). Cette modulation de signaux utilisant la "transformation par sinus/cosinus" est plus facile à mettre en application que les transformations d'Hadamard et aucune limite ne s'impose au nombre d'échantillons.
