DNA sequences from the Internal Transcribed Spacer of the ribosomal RNA gene region are described for different species and strains of Septoria, Pseudocercosporella, Fusarium and Mycosphaerella. Specific primers from within these sequences are identified as being useful for the identification of the fungal isolates using PCR-based techniques.

L'invention concerne des séquences d'ADN du segment espaceur interne transcrit de la région génique de l'ARN ribosomique pour différentes espèces et souches de Septoria, Pseudocercosporella, Fusarium et Mycosphaerella. Les amorces spécifiques tirées de ces séquences se sont avérées utiles pour identifier les isolats de champignons à l'aide de techniques de type PCR.
