Abstract of the Disclosure This invention discloses a method for detecting antibodies to human T-cell leukemia virus Type III (HTLV- III), the virus associated with Acquired Immune Defi- ciency Syndrome (AIDS). The method involves use of a peroxidase labeled immunoglobulin which specifically binds to a compatible anti-human immunoglobulin previ- ously bound to HTLV-III antibodies in test sera.
