ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A detector circuit for color television receivers having a pair of transistors whose emitter electrodes and collectors electrodes are connected together, respectively. An ACC detected output is obtained from the collector electrodes of the pair of transistors through an integrator circuit. A reference voltage is supplied to the emitters of the transistors which are connected together so as to provide a threshold voltage and differential input signals which are opposite in phase with each other are applied to the base electrodes of the transistors, respectively. At the output terminal of the detector circuit there is produced such a signal which corresponds to a full-wave rectified signal of the portions of the differential input signals exceeding the threshold level, and the full-wave rectified signal is made as a DC signal by the integrator circuit. This DC signal is then used as a gain control signal for, for example, an ACC amplifier.
