The detector (25) comprises a body (26, 27) defining a chamber (28), means (32) for linking the body (26, 27) of the detector (25) with an element of an industrial installation, so as to connect the detector (25) chamber (28) with the internal space of the installation element and means for detecting (29, 37, 30b) a liquid overflow in the detector (25) chamber (28). Preferably, the detecting means consist of a float (29) integral with a permanent magnet (37) and an electric switch (30b) sensitive to the permanent magnet (37) magnetic field. The detector body (26, 27) can be fixed in particular on the nozzle of a conduit for instruments of a nuclear reactor cooled by water under pressure, to detect a leakage of the cooling water in the conduit.
Le détecteur (25) comporte un corps (26, 27) délimitant une chambre (28), des moyens (32) de liaison du corps (26, 27) du détecteur (25) à un élément d'une installation industrielle, de manière à mettre en communication la chambre (28) du détecteur (25) et l'espace interne de l'élément de l'installation ainsi que des moyens de détection (29, 37, 30b) du dépassement d'un niveau de liquide dans la chambre (28) du détecteur (25). De préférence, les moyens de détection sont constitués par un flotteur (29) solidaire d'un aimant permanent (37) et un interrupteur électrique (30b) sensible au champ magnétique de l'aimant permanent (37). Le corps (26, 27) du détecteur peut être fixé en particulier sur une buselure d'un conduit d'instrumentation d'un réacteur nucléaire refroidi par de l'eau sous pression, pour détecter une fuite d'eau de refroidissement dans le conduit.
