ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a laser warning sensor with transit time coding of the directions of incidence by light conductors, wherein only the resolution in azimuth or resolution both in azimuth as well as in elevation, is achieved by means of an appropriate arrangement of the light conductors. Definition of the time reference point through the zero transit of a laser-excited oscillation of an oscillation circuit and the suppression of false alarms through correlation of signals in the start and stop channel is hereby accomplished. An almost trouble-free detector system is provided hereby, which permits precise angular determination without any need for a time datum point circuit.
